Te Hokowhitu a Tu - Te Puke War Memorial Hall Courtyard 130 Jellicoce Street Te Puke The Maori Pioneers is an exhibit that commemorates the exploits of the Maori Battalion during the first World War. Container in the courtyard is open Monday - Friday, 10.30am-3pm, and Saturday 9am-12noon. 2 July - MOWS Working Bee 9am - 12noon - Pukehina, Dune plants - fix fence? clear iceplant. Coffee, tea, muffins provided. Bring gloves, hat, suncream and stout shoes. 16 July - Writing our Life History Workshop Te Puke War Memorial Hall Settlers Lounge Boardroom - 9am-12noon - Christine Clement has been a family historian for many years, and has written countless articles & authored a number of books, including 11 family/local histories.
